IT Support & Help Desk Traineeship location Sydney, North Shore and Northern Beaches. We currently have a full-time vacancy for a highly motivated individual to undertake a 2 year Traineeship Program for a Certificate IV in Information Technology Support (or similar) which provides opportunities for advancement on completion of the traineeship. If you've just completed year 12 in 2018/2019 this position is an ideal way to get qualified while you get paid and start an exciting career. To be successful in this role you need to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate an interest in IT. Please note that it is a requirement that you have no prior qualifications other than HSC. The role log and monitor helpdesk tickets and advise users on appropriate actions, follow standard helpdesk procedures, diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, perform software installations and imaging; perform hardware installations and repairs, respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically, apply knowledge in windows, microsoft office and other applications used at skywire as well as basic networking skills, (training on internal systems to be provided). About you completed year 12 in 2018/2019, demonstrated interest in computers and new technologies, excellent presentation and communication skills, punctuality and reliability, approachable and friendly, attention to detail, must have no prior qualifications. What to expect you will be required to work a 37.5 hour week (including part of your TAFE training).
