Our role the Chief Advisor - Investment Management Office role is responsible for leading the delivery of significant aspects of the Investment Management Office's ongoing improvement work programme, as well as the preparation of advice for decision-makers and governors. It's a senior technical leadership role, providing senior level support and leadership to Kāinga Ora, enabling an effective investment governance system.
What you will bring to be successful in this role the Chief Advisor IMO will have demonstrated ability to engage and influence at both the operations and executive level. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience in a senior strategy advisory role.
Experience navigating and operating in a regulated environment, experience working constructively across functions and track record of building and maintaining the trust of all stakeholders. Interest in Public Sector structure, governance, processes and systems. Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and negotiation skills. Understanding of partnership obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi.
