PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person that includes an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs.
The role would you like to be our new warm and welcoming face at PLC’s Student Wellbeing Centre. Commencing 10 July 2023, this is a unique full-time, ongoing opportunity for an individual to be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors of our Student Wellbeing Centre (SWC).
The SWC comprises three departments: Counselling, Learning Enhancement and Career Development, with a highly skilled, collaborative team of staff who are dedicated to supporting the wellbeing, development and educational outcomes of students.
In this role, you will offer your skills and expertise in administration, front-of-house reception duties, general office coordination and customer service, to ensure the smooth running of the SWC and to create a positive experience for everyone who engages with us.
About you this role would suit an individual with relevant experience in a front-of-house role in an education or similar setting. You are highly professional in your work ethic and output, have excellent communication skills, and you also have the ability to handle sensitive information in respectful, confidential manner.
You enjoy working in a busy environment and demonstrate the skills to support that, including excellent attention to detail, time management and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks. Your sound ICT skills, including skills in Microsoft Office, will be favourable to this role. Experience using a Mac is also highly regarded.
