About the role we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the Maori, Pacific and Ethnic Services (MPES) Eastern Districts team as a Te Pae Oranga (TPO) Administration & Support Officer. You will be supporting our expanding and innovative MPES team as well as our TPO providers, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga and Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Porou.
Te Pae Oranga is primarily for people who commit low level offending where it is not in the public interest to prosecute but they do need to be held to account for their offending behaviour. Te Pae Oranga helps people to address their behaviours that are driving offending, thereby assisting to reduce their likelihood of reoffending.
To support area outcomes the TPO Administration & Support Officer provides an efficient and effective cohesive case management system for all case files, within required timeframes, for the Hawke's Bay and Gisborne Area respectively, supporting Supported Resolution Coordinators, and may provide external telephone communication services as required.
Key accountabilities provide administration support services to ensure Te Pae Oranga is running smoothly and efficiently in Hawke's Bay/Gisborne. Enters information onto computerized file management system with speed and accuracy.
Maintain liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Ensures all relevant information is attached to files, maintaining internal file audit requirements. Deal with routine enquiries both by phone and email for local supported resolution business needs. Attend Te Pae Oranga panels where required and assist Supported Resolution Coordinators with data entry.
