The Administration Officer role is one of those opportunities. We currently have a permanent opportunity available to join our Regional Administration team at Auckland Regional Women's Correctional Facility (ARWCF) team, based at Wiri, Manukau.

Salary and benefits the starting salary for this role is $49,708 with some flexibility depending on your skills and experience. About the role this is a varied role with a wide range of duties in a dynamic environment.  You will be the key support person for the Custodial Systems Manager (CSM) and will assist with the day-to-day functions and providing assurances to the CSM.

You will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment, be able to multitask, follow and adhere to strict policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines.

The hours of work will be full-time 40 hours, 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.  We can be flexible with your start time i.e 7.30am or 9am start.

About you ideally you will have the following skills and experience. Sound computer skills and experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Proactive and highly organised. Excellent written & oral communications skills.

High attention to detail. Excellent time management. Ability to build, foster and maintain working relationships. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Mature attitude and strong work ethic. Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.

Experience and/or knowledge with Ara Poutama's key programmes, IOMS and internal databases are beneficial however not necessary. Culturally competent with an understanding (or an openness to developing an understanding) of the Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi. A full NZ Divers Licence.
