Sales Support Customer Service Hemisphere Freight Services location Auckland.

Hemisphere Freight Services have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Support / Customer Service person to join their Parnell-based team. This role will provide support for the development of new and existing business.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly motivated, have good attention to detail, enjoy working in a team, and have a minimum of 12 months experience within the freight forwarding industry. Your ability to handle pressure and deal with all walks of life will be one of your biggest strengths. Skills with Excel would be fantastic, along with an impeccable eye for detail.

The role the functions of the role will include, but are not limited to working within the Sales team assisting with any rates, quotes, and assisting in any tender or project requirements. Dealing closely with customers, freight forwarders, overseas agents, shipping lines, and suppliers regarding rates.

Maintenance and building of your own managed client portfolio. Rate negotiations. Preparation of rates and quotations. Maintenance and distribution of tariffs. Assisting the department Supervisor as required.
