About our role if you’re energetic and have an interest in people, their wellbeing and attention to detail, we have a great opportunity for you.  We are seeking a wonderful Support Services Assistant to work on a part time basis in our busy team - you’ll definitely be able to keep your step count up in this role.

St George’s Hospital is a fabulous to place to work and you’ll have the opportunity to work across our surgical and maternity wards providing non-clinical support and housekeeping services. Your contribution in this role is integral to both our team’s success and our patient’s positive experience.

The role is a rostered position for 62.5 hours per fortnight and may require some weekend shifts. Essential skills/experience for the role you may already have experience in a similar role but if you have the right attitude, you can learn the right skills on the job.  Irrespective or your experience, you will be a reliable and effective team member.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, patients and visitors. Demonstrate initiative and an ability to work unsupervised. Be able to prioritise. Able to work rostered shifts.
