Yes, you do get lots of puppy cuddles and support from a wonderful community, however, this is an active job, requiring you to clean up after the dogs and be on your feet throughout the shift.
The key responsibilities include delivering the day-care enrichment program using positive and force free methods to make the dog’s (and your) day full of fun, to satisfy them mentally and physically.
The safe supervision of 15 – 20 off-lead dogs in a classroom environment. Interact with our community through social media to help educate, inform, and highlight the activities in class.
Grooming assistant experienced groomers are preferred, however if you can show your commitment and passion to learn, our team are prepared to train you in how to complete beautiful grooms in a positive and fear free environment.
The key responsibilities include completing fear free grooms and basic grooming services including bathing, drying, cleaning of ears and the trimming of nails. Working with the Guest Services and Day-care team to ensure dogs are booked, groomed on time and ready for pet parents.
Greeting pet parents and helping them to identify their pet’s individual grooming needs. Guest Services coordinator the Guest Services Coordinator has the very important role of meeting and greeting our dog and human clients and looking after their needs.
It is important you have all the ‘p’ s – positive, professionalism, patience, and a ‘people and pet’s’ come first attitude. The key responsibilities include greeting all guests on entry and safely leading dogs to classrooms or grooming salon and returning to parents in reception at the end of the day.
Provide a high-quality client centric service to everyone who enters the facility or communicates by phone or emails. Manage all guest services duties including administration, bookings and appointments and ordering for the centre needs.
Deal with basic financial management of client payments and recording on individual files. Minimum Requirements for all roles commitment to the delivery of positive and force free dog handling methods.
A strong understanding of dog body language to ensure a safe environment. Highly motivated, positive, and reliable attitude, ready to jump in and help your team. A passion for delivering a high-quality, client centric service to our dogs and pet parents.
Ability to work in a team environment, and independently. Prepared to maintain a clean and safe environment. Good physical condition as there is an element of heavy lifting and requirement to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Must be able to work shifts rostered from 3 to 8 hrs, Monday to Friday between 6:30 am - 6:30 pm.
