Administration Assistant Murdoch University location Perth. $35 - $39.00 per hour.

About us the Office of Academic Quality, Curriculum Management and Policy provides essential services in relation to the quality, standards and compliance of Murdoch University as an Australian University Provider.

This includes responsibility for the monitoring and assurance of fundamental legislative compliance requirements including the Higher Education Standards Framework, ESOS and the National Code and HESA.

The role an exciting casual opportunity is now available for you to put your administration skills to good use supporting our International Compliance team. Your experience in administration support will serve you well as you assist with arranging meetings, document preparation, data entry, records management and other routine administrative support functions.

You’ll run reports to help us monitor international compliance requirements, support training and other communications to promote awareness of ESOS obligations, and support the International Compliance team with audits and reviews.  Your excellent communication and organisational skills will play a big role working within this team environment.

Previous experience with the ESOS Act and National Code will be very helpful in this role. What you’ll bring to this role essential demonstrated experience undertaking a broad range of administrative support activities in an office environment.

Demonstrated high level of computer literacy including the ability to confidently navigate a variety of web based and desktop applications, with the capability and willingness to learn new packages as appropriate.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and work professionally at all times. High level of organisational, time and workload management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines.

High level of attention to detail. Excellent professional communication skills and experience in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team. Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for tasks and to resolve routine problems.

Desirable knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code and its application. Previous experience in a University or large, complex organisation.
