The Venue Operations Officer supports the management of the space portfolio and services provided to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered and that the available space is utilised to its full potential.

The role of Venues Operations Officer is part of Treasury’s Facilities Management team and supports venues utilised by both NSW Treasury and the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC). The role ensures the smooth delivery of day-to-day meeting room operations, associated meeting room services as well as supporting the overall operations of Treasury’s facilities management function.

You are able to perform central duties autonomously, identify issues before they arise and exercise initiative and judgement in taking an appropriate course of action. About the team the Facilities Management team is part of the Financial & Operations Group in NSW Treasury. Facilities Management is responsible for the operational control of buildings and other facilities belonging the Treasury Cluster.

We coordinate the building's maintenance and repairs, ensure facilities related systems are fit for purpose and provide on-site support to our Treasury colleagues and external visitors in order to maintain a safe, clean and productive environment for the staff.

Management of data and maintenance of various systems will be key in helping the team plan and deliver the upcoming Accommodation Strategy. About NSW treasury nsw Treasury is the NSW Government’s principal whole-of-government financial and economic adviser.
