Administration Officer WYNNUM MANLY YACHT CLUB INC location Brisbane.

The Wynnum Manly Yacht Club is one of the major yacht clubs in Brisbane located at the Manly Boat Harbour. The Club has been in existence since 1962 and has approximately 700 members who mostly own boats.

It has a clubhouse for members, boat storage for trailable boats and a launching and retrieval ramp. The clubhouse has bar and kitchen facilities currently operating in conjunction with events hosted by the club. The clubhouse is located in a prime position with a beautiful outlook over the water and boats.

The WMYC works closely with the WMYC Marina which oversees a boat marina facility with 240 berths. The office uses a number of computer applications including accounting programs, excel and word. There are two part time positions in the office.

Reports to wmyc treasurer responsibilities and accountabilities liaise with members including new members and assisting with member queries.

Assist in inputting and maintaining information in a number of accounting and data packages including Revsports, Xero,  bar system and gate entry system. Liaise and assist the Management Committee members. Reconcile the bar banking once a week. Reconcile the bank statement daily. Prepare bank payments for approval.

Take payments over the counter and on the phone. Assist in the compilation and maintenance of communications to members including website, magazine, emails and other means. Order from and liaise with service and maintenance suppliers. Assist with preparations for major events. Other general office tasks. Working arrangements.

The position is part time 3 days per week 7.5 hours per day. There is some flexibility with days referees you will need to provide 2 work referees and 1 personal referee. The work referees will need to be persons who you have been previously reported to.
