Join a committed team providing high class customer service assisting with the administrative and financial management for Biodiversity & Ecological Health Branch of NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. This is a really rewarding role helping to manage science-based conservation initiatives.
About the role this pivotal role provides a range of administrative support services to the Director, Branch Management Team and wider Branch such as records management, financial administration, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, HR administration and reporting to deliver quality services and support the achievement of business objectives. You’ll also be relied upon to utilise your savvy systems, administrative and finance skills to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support the Branch. This position is a key role, integral to the smooth running of the Branch so your superior systems knowledge in SAP, CM9, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, communication skills, ability to act with integrity and attention to detail will ensure your success. This role offers flexibility however on occasion you may be required to undertake infrequent regional travel.
Biodiversity & Ecological Health Branch delivers science-based conservation initiatives across the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service protected areas. The branch leads the development and implementation of programs and strategies which will position the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service as a world leader in threatened species conservation. Biodiversity & Ecological Health Branch is also supporting a globally significant program of wildlife reintroductions in feral-free areas, securing the acquisition of land for addition to the national park estate and establishing a ground-breaking program to measure and report on the ecological health of national parks.
