About the role ACU is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for Casual Administration Officer positions in North Sydney, Strathfield, Brisbane, Melbourne. Multiple positions available.
Responsibilities provide effective administrative support for a range of tasks across the Course Administration, Finance and Staffing, Professional Experience and Student Services functional units in the School of Education. Assist in managing the inbox of the relevant functional unit including query handling, responding to time-sensitive correspondence, distributing bulk communication and maintaining folders and labels as required.
Use of relevant student systems and collaborative platforms to facilitate efficient completion of tasks and implementation of processes in accordance with the University and Faculty/School guidelines, policies and procedures. Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure timely proactive issue resolution and effective service delivery to internal and external stakeholders. Assist in providing support for school events and committee meetings as directed including preparation of the agenda, minutes and reports, room booking and catering.
You will need to have relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience. Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines. Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
