Administration Officer South Eastern Sydney Local Health District location Sydney. $68,320 - $69,947.
You will be providing a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the TRSP and Ambulatory Care teams to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
Where you'll be working Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service, located on Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick. Located close by to public transport options including light rail and buses, cafes, restaurants and beach lifestyle.

The Administration Officer Level 5 is to provide high level executive and administrative support to the Clinical Director and Clinical Operations Manager of both the TRSP and the Euroa Ambulatory Care Centre. The TRSP is a newly developed state-wide comprehensive assessment service for patients with complex, difficult to treat psychotic disorders and will have face to face clinics based in the existing Ambulatory Care Centre and also operate via telehealth services to greater NSW. This position is crucial to the promotion, development and coordination of the service and will require advanced communication skills and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving and organisational requirements.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
Selection criteria ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources. Experience in responding to a range of customer enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment, including tact and diplomacy with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive issues.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills and ability to integrate complex information from multiple sources. Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to accurately and clearly write reports, documents and correspondence with a very high level of attention to detail, including drafting correspondence for senior managers. Previous experience with Medicare Outpatient billing/PBRC along with highly developed computer literacy skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and records management such as TRIM as well as coordination of all telehealth activities. Current NSW Drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
