Member Services Officer Beaumont People location Sydney.

The organization our client is a peak body within its field, this association represents professional groups with an interest in improving knowledge and understanding of lung disease across Australia and New Zealand. This association has a membership of approximately 1700 members.

The role the association are looking for a temporary candidate to support a collaborative team. The role would suit an admin all-rounder, who is able to assist with overall daily administration tasks, including phone call overflow from membership services, managing a busy inbox and dealing with member requests and logins.

This role includes being the first point of contact for membership enquiries s, and back end systems admin. This is a temporary position for approximately 2-3 months with the potential for a permanent position. This role would suit an individual who has had experience working in a fast-paced membership or association organisation with strong administration or office management skills.

Duties include but not limited to office support to a wonderful team. Daily membership processing and database. Email management of a generic inbox. Assisting with the daily use of e-learning platforms. Support event management team with email, documentation, quotes and email invitations. Manage members logins and queries. Assisting with answering the phone when necessary.

To be successful you will ideally have exceptional communication skills. Have a strong administrative background. Excellent skill set in solving common IT problems and good knowledge of various systems. Strong attention to detail. Experience in Mircosoft Office. Be able to multi-task, possess strong time management and exceptional organisational skills. Be able to use your own initiative and would describe yourself as self-motivated, membership or association experience would be desirable. The ability to start immediately and be happy in a short term role
