DogHQ is committed to providing a rewarding, supportive environment to the right individuals who share our passion for dogs and providing an exceptional customer experience. We are looking to fill ether a part-time OR full-time role, depending on the right applicant. The role would require shifts at both our DogHQ locations- Albany and Wairau, so flexibility & a valid restricted or full license is a must. Applicants without a drivers license and their own transport will not be considered.  Ideally you will have prior experience handling animals, beyond the family pet & previous dog experience is preferred.

Along with previous experience of dog handling, the perfect candidate will be physically fit. Be known for their calm, positive attitude. Understand the responsibility of taking care of someone else's treasured pet. Love working in a team environment. Show a desire to learn and adapt.

Be comfortable managing large, high energy dogs off lead in groups ranging from all sizes and breeds. Be prepared to work rostered shifts, Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am and 7pm, Not be immune to cleaning. Someone who is happy to cover shifts when needed and may be called upon at short notice.
