Animal Attendant Granite Hill Pet Resort location West Gippsland and Latrobe Valley.

Granite Hill Pet Resort is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Animal Attendant/Office person to join our friendly team. This is a casual position with 15-35 hours per week. The successful person must be available on Public Holidays, Weekends, Easter, Christmas etc. Training will be provided, however previous animal handling experience is desired. The right person would need to have the following attributes.

Must be motivated with a strong work ethic. Must have good attention to detail. Work well in a team environment. Be able to follow routines, policies and procedures. Must be confident in dealing with customers. Previous experience working with animal preferably dogs is essential. Must have a strong focus on animal care and wellbeing. Enjoy working outdoors in all weather.

Kennel attendant tasks will include but not limited to cleaning of guests accommodation ensuring a high level of hygiene is maintained at all times. Feeding and medicating guests as required, conduct daily health checks, bathing dogs with a strong focus on attention to detail.
