Hotel Receptionist Trusthouse location Wellington.

Our region’s largest accommodation provider and Qualmark Four-Star- hotel has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic part time Receptionist. This is a key front line position outstanding communication skills are essential, you will have pride in your customer service, a passion for hospitality and the willingness to go the extra mile for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following providing exceptional guest service. Promoting the business to achieve accommodation sales. Taking bookings & entering reservations into Clarity Property Management System. Checking guests in and out. Liaise with Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments. Ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk.

The ideal applicant will possess the following qualities excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent grooming and presentation standards. Enjoy multi-tasking and working under pressure. Willing and able to work. mornings/afternoons/evenings and weekends. Flexibility to work a 7-day roster. Previous reception and hospitality experience is an advantage but full training is provided. Applicants for this position should have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.
