About the role we currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic fulltime Receptionist to join our team at our head office in Keysborough. This is a really unique reception role with one of the core duties being to support people with disabilities to learn reception and administration skills. If you’re energetic and proactive, are excited about the prospect of sharing your skillset and supporting people to learn new skills, and are looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include supporting people with disabilities to learn and develop reception skills. Answering incoming calls and operating the switch board. Meeting and greeting visitors and clients. General word-processing and clerical support, Data entry. Collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. Coordinating office supplies, Filing. Handling client payments. Creating purchase orders and follow-ups. Supporting corporate services and management with additional general office and administration duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed demonstrated experience working within a reception/administration role. Experience supporting people with disabilities is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders. Excellent time management skills and the ability to think laterally.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Commitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to work. A passion for supporting people with disabilities to achieve the best they can – bring your special talents to their experience. Excellent administration, written communication skills and computer literacy in order to complete appropriate documentation - make sure the t’s are crossed and i’s dotted.

Resourceful and innovative approach to creating opportunities for those we support – make social change happen. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite of applications (advanced Excel skills essential). Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation.

Must haves right to work in Australia. Mandatory police check and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) check will be conducted. Full Victorian drivers license.
