Management Accountant Tribe (New Zealand) Limited location Auckland.

About the role working within a highly commercial area of this large and complex organization, you will be responsible for supporting managers to understand performance and key drivers of their various business units to help them deliver their goals. This will be achieved by your thorough month end accounting as well as the robust financial reporting, planning & analysis of financial and non-financial data as well as supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.

A busy, varied and challenging role you will be responsible for finalizing monthly operating and performance results.  You will support monthly and ad-hoc analysis and performance and expenditure and provide insights and make recommendations on cost savings and impacts on results and support the annual forecasting and budgeting process.

About you it is likely that you will have completed your professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or similar) and have around 2-4-years-experience in a similar role. As well as your strong technical accounting and analysis skills, you will be adept at working closely with financial and non-financial managers to give a clear understanding of performance drivers to support decision making and planning processes. Excellent Excel skills are a given and it would be great if you have had previous exposure to SAP. A demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders is needed as this role is truly a business partnering opportunity.
