The Gateau House produces the premium quality of hand-made gateaux specialized in modern design and stunning flavour and texture and very popular sweet and savory buns. Currently, there are 7 branches of The Gateau House across the Auckland region.

The Gateau House is now looking for part-time Shop Assistants for our Albany store. Main jobs are dealing with customer service including receiving and placing an order by phone as well as cleaning and stock management. Furthermore, making drinks and selling cakes & bun products will be included.

Essential requirements must be able to work weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). Approximately 25-30 hours per week. Barista experience/skills preferred. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Ability to speak another language would be advantageous but not necessary. Warm, friendly, and open-minded. Responsible and punctual. Great work ethic. Valid visa status to work in New Zealand.
