This is a newly created role where you can help create their people strategy, build capability and develop best practice programs. This is a role for a dynamic, high energy and innovative leader.
Reporting to the Executive of People & Culture, your role will manage a large team and you will oversee a broad portfolio incorporating Business Partnering, L&D, Talent, HR Systems, Reward & Recognition and IR/ER. A proven high performer in developing and leading teams, you are a true business partner who has delivered significant results and value through your HR initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include provide advice and support in all areas of people and culture and advocate for all employee initiatives across the company. Work with the senior leadership team to increase their effectiveness through people leadership, performance management, coaching and support. Provide leaders the support and tool kit to deliver on desired employee experiences that drive employee engagement.
Oversee the employer value proposition and ensure there are key measures in place around retention of talent to realise business objectives. Ensure there is a robust process around talent acquisition and alignment to attributes and skills that meet future workforce needs and a commitment to the candidate experience. Ensure all people practices across the business are effectively set up to achieve enduring success, providing clarity of goals and behavioural expectations.
Work with the ELT on providing advice and recommendations around reward and recognition programs that are measurable and linked to business growth objectives and strategy. Lead your team in the effective management of employee and industrial relations matters and ensure all key internal and external stakeholders are across any issues. Build and embed a high-performance, achievement-orientated culture. Work with the P&C leadership team to ensure the function is delivering at an exceptional standard.
Grow the development and advancement of the organisation as an employer of choice, ensuring the company remains competitive and a great place to work, including inclusion, diversity and flexible working practices. Ensure all processes and HRIS system and processes are affective in driving the employee experience. Design and manage the people, reputation and safety data, insights and reporting so that data drives decisions making and change.
We are seeking a high-level people leader who has delivered significant business results through their initiatives. You will have proven capability in leading teams across a broad range of HR issues to achieve profitability and business objectives that are clearly linked to commercial outcomes. You move and act with pace, are a thought leader who inspires and encourages others in providing HR strategy /advice and support to key leaders.
You may come from a top tier Consulting firm where you have led teams and have been involved in working with large complex organisations in change and strategy. You may have a blend of both HR and Business Operations experience and are seeking a role that will combine both. We are seeking someone who is ‘out of the box’ for this opportunity.
