Electrician location Boon Lay / Jurong / Tuas, West. Job Type Full-Time.

Electrician, 5.5 days, $2000 - $2200, Tuas.

Duties & responsibilities testing & commissioning for new fire alarm circuit installations. Maintain & provide technical support for existing fire alarm installations. Perform valve functional tests.

Attend to building lights, CCTV issues. Able to troubleshoot & repair electrical faults on equipments and vehicles. Responsible for the vehicles electronics, power distribution system design, wire harnessing design and support system integration. Assemble, install, test and maintenance electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment would be hazardous. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Work from leader, scaffolds and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Qualifications & requirements Min O level with demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical system and equipment. Skilled and knowledgeable on both AC & DC electrical circuits. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts/ overnight if required. Able to use Ohmmeters, voltmeters, multimeters and other special electronic test equipment. Able to work independent and perform troubleshooting. Singaporean Only.
