Beekeeper Hooper Honey location Mt Gambier and Limestone Coast.

Hooper Honey is a modern beekeeping business located in Tintinara, South Australia. We run a profitable, efficient and reputable business primarily for honey production and pollination services. Being healthy, energetic, happy and respectful are core values to Hooper Honey and the applicant will also need to embrace these traits.

We run 15 loads of bees and work them predominantly in the South East Region. Some country travel and living away from home will be required. We are looking for an apiarist, experience would be beneficial however not essential, to join our team. The applicant needs to have an understanding and affection for rural life. As well as being self- motivated and able to work in a team environment.

The position is for a Full Time employee, with an hourly rate in accordance with skill level under the Pastoral Award.  A truck and forklift license would be an advantage, however we can assist the right candidate to acquire appropriate licensing. We work to seasonal demands with an increased opportunity to capture additional salary during harvest. Conversely there will be opportunities to take extended periods of leave during the off season if you choose.
