Process Plant Operations Technician Apprentices and Trainees Queensland location Sydney.

Apprentices and Trainees Queensland is seeking applications for the following traineeship based in Gladstone Process Plant Operations Technician Traineeship. The successful applicant will gain technical knowledge of refinery process systems, develop skills to operate process facilities and build knowledge of mechanics. This traineeship will include both theory and practical learning as well as continual support and mentoring throughout your traineeship.

The role will require you to learn how the processing plant and operations work and then get out there and make it work. You will be intimately involved in day to day operation of all aspects of the plant from truck loading to major maintenance activities. You will also be required to work in the site laboratory to ensure product quality is maintained. You will be employed as one of the operators and as your skill and knowledge improve you will be given more responsibilities around the site.

Essential criteria reside locally within Gladstone region. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Previous experience in a similar role or environment preferred.  Strong time management and organisation skills. Current drivers licence.
